The 95th Minute Goal That Saw Chorley FC Reach The Conference North Play-Off Final Was A Bit Special (Video)

By Chris Wright

With the first leg ending 0-0 last Wednesday, it looked for all the world that Chorley FC were about to be dumped out of the Conference North play-offs at the semi-final stage when Boston United raced into a 2-0 lead in the second leg on Sunday afternoon.

Despite pulling a goal back on the hour mark, Chorley were still 2-1 down and chasing the game as the fourth minute of injury time ticked over into the fifth.

Just as it looked as though all hope was lost and the gig was up, midfielder Adam Roscoe went and did this…

With Roscoe tying the game in spectacular style, Chorley (who are managed by Garry Flitcroft, as it happens) were then able to go on and win the game on penalties – thus booking themselves a berth in the Conference North play-off final against Guiseley next weekend.

Incredible.
