LA Galaxy continued their pre-season preparations with a friendly against Mexican side Club America last night, with Steven Gerrard pilfering the headlines by making his debut for his new employers.
However, it was fellow Liverpool alumni Robbie Keane who got Galaxy up and running on their way to a 2-1 victory with a sweet, sweet goal on the stroke of half-time to cancel out Carlos Quintero’s 7th-minute opener for America.
