For the second time in just a few short months, young Al Ahly winger Ramadan Sobhi found himself on the wrong end of a whupping after goading his opponents.

Back in July, Sobhi was subjected to a kicking courtesy of the Zamalek defence after the 18-year-old took the widdle by standing atop the ball mid-match, à la Andrei Kanchelskis.

Skip forward to Thursday evening, and Sobhi this time managed to spark a multi-man brawl during Al Ahly’s game by repeating the entirely unnecessary taunt against…you guessed it…Zamalek again.

Yuck. We really can’t stand that kind of childish braggadocio on the football pitch.

The little brat definitely needs to have it thrashed out of him in our considered opinion.

Rubbish. He was dead right to do it again. What next? Is it ok to punch someone that does a stepover or nutmegs?

  2. AlFinney says:

Personally I don’t see the problem. Good for the crowd to see something less tippy-tappy; football has become more or less a routine drill.

Aleister Crowley was right when he said that mankind has yet to reach adulthood.

Yea, ditto. Good for him. Good way to get (what should have been) several red cards shown to the other team. If they don’t want him to do it, actually mark him and some hard defense so he doesn’t have time to do it.

You’re absolutely correct Chris, how dare this kid try to have fun while playing a game. Got exactly what he deserved.

He should have shown us (the doormen) some respect.

I know a dog standing better than him…
