Since moving to Turkey last summer, Robin van Persie hasn’t quite hit the heights he reached in the Premier League with both Arsenal and Manchester United. However, the 32-year-old Dutchman has netted a decent 14 goals this season for Fenerbahce, including a goal on Sunday which was a thing of utter, impudent beauty.
The moment of magic came during Fener’s Super Lig clash with Gaziantepspor, with van Persie putting the goalkeeper on his backside with a superb feint before firing home. A magnificent piece of skill indeed…

Van Persie would go on to net a brace in the 3-0 home win for Fenerbahce, which sees them in second place in the Super Lig table, just three points behind leaders Besiktas.
