It should obviously read NUFC 0-3 SAFC, but we’ll overlook that small error on the part of the tattoo artist as there is so much else to love/hate about this piece of body art which captures Black Cats’ boss Paulo Di Canio and his famous knee-slide during last season’s derby win at St. James’ Park.

To be fair, we’ve all seen far worse than this in technical terms. But still, getting this done is a bit extreme, no?

    Nice tattoo
I don’t mean to be pedantic but we were playing away from home so should it not be NUFC 0 SAFC 3 ?

  3. Ross says:

Graeme, you beat me to it…yeah SAFC were away at SJP, therefore you are correct in thinking NUFC 0 SAFC 3.

Such a shame too, from a bitter NUFC fan ha

Needless to say their one win in 26 years at home, the 5-1 two seasons ago and our finishing above them last season all make up for that game.
