As it was sort of told in the prophecy (well, our pre-season Premier League predictions), Sunderland sacked Paolo Di Canio just before close of play last night for being an unintelligible screwball, leaving the Black Cats looking for their sixth manager in the space of five years.
We wonder if this guy has woken up with a head-full of regret this morning?
Fun fact: Chris Hughton (Newcastle), Roberto Di Matteo, Andre Villas-Boas (both Chelsea) and now Paolo Di Canio (Sunderland) were all sacked after losing to West Bromwich. There’s something about those Baggies!
