Crystal Palace 1-3 Sunderland – Premier League – 3rd November 2014
A brace from Steven Fletcher along with a strike from Jordi Gomez saw Sunderland come away from Selhurst Park with all three points.
The Eagles did benefit from yet another Wes Brown OG on 55 minutes, which levelled the scores at 1-1, but the hosts also had midfielder Mile Jedinak sent off. Jordi Gomez netted to make it 2-1 before Fletcher added his second late on as the visitors secured a vital three points.
Gus Poyet’s men leapfrog the Eagles and move into 15th, with Neil Warnock’s side 17th.
