  1. INTER291103 says:

Shocking decision from Swansea. Laudrup helped them to win the League Cup one year ago and secured a place in the Europa League knockout phase earlier this season, not to mention the signing of Michu and the 1-2 at Old Trafford in the third round of the FA Cup. They had a lot of injuries recently, definitely not his fault if Swansea suffered a few bad defeats.

  2. Moxey says:

Surely this should come under “fail”. Ridiculous decision to sack him.

  3. Carrie says:

Another sacking which smacks of panic and short-sightedness. The grass is always greener for these club chairmen. Laudrup was a fine manager at Mallorca; he isn’t suddenly not good enough for Swansea City.

  4. Russki says:

I don’t really get the big Laudrup love-in. He took someone else’s side and had a good cup run. He didn’t do badly but it’s not as though he set the world alight. If the rumoured mis-management behind the scenes is to be believed, Jenkins is quite within his right to get rid.
