Swansea City have announced that, for the duration of the 2015/16 Premier League season, the club are going to subsidise tickets for every single one of their away fixtures meaning that fans will have to pay no more than £22 to get in.

With away tickets at several Premier League grounds now costing around and indeed above the £50 mark, it really does make for a terrific gesture on Swansea’s part – a gesture which is set to save their fans around £300,000 all in.

It’s all part of Swansea’s ongoing ‘True to 22’ pledge, which the club made recently to help reward travelling supporters for their much-appreciated loyalty and support.

And it’s not like they haven’t earned it either. In fact, a recent study showed Swansea fans had to travel further than any other club’s fans in the Premier League last season, clocking up 4,129 miles at an average of 217 miles per trip.

Cracking stuff!
