Tottenham made light work of Tromso in their opening Europa League Group K fixture at The Lane last night, with Jermaine Defoe taking his Euro tally to eight goals in his last seven outings with a first-half Defoe-esque brace and Christian Eriksen fleshing out the result after entering the fray on the hour-mark and whipping home a delightful curling effort with five minutes left to play…
To be quite honest, the second half was all a bit stagnant, but Eriksen’s superbly dispatched goal more than made up for the preceding 40 minutes of drudge.
Nicely done, that man.
