The deed is officially done…

Presumably his translator is bundled in there as well.

Southampton are about to pay the price for having a good season. The harvest is upon us.

Tottenham’s full statement on Pochettino’s appointment is here should you fancy a peruse.

Poor Southampton, the work he has done and their progress was so good to watch. Not too mention the flurry of English youth coming through under his guidance will hurt us in the long run.

I hope he pulls it off at Tottenham but I know that if the results do not go well for him and the unrealistic fourth place is not achieved Levy will axe him.

Should have stayed at Southampton a club that was still growing but I guess the fact that Southampton has lots of predators waiting for Shaw, Lallana etc gave him reason to jump ship.

Judas! What happened to all his talk of honouring contracts? Oh well, he was good but he wasn’t all that. Just hope we get someone in who wants to play attractive football. That and reinvesting the stupid money being banded around for Shaw and Lallana and we will be fine what with our whole new raft of youth coming through. Targett has long been touted as better than Shaw at his age and Clyne can play there anyway (although it will still be a big loss obviously).

Yep, first thing I thought when I heard this news was “poor Southampton”.

Reminds me a bit of Ajax. Build awesome team, flog anyone half decent
