Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has been stung for a princely £40,000 after admitting a misconduct charge over his conduct during the Gunners’ FA Cup victory parade.
Already a couple of Smirnoff Ices in by that point, Wilshere was charged after being filmed leading anti-Tottenham chants from atop the bus as it wound through Islington the day after Arsenal’s cup win.
The FA have subsequently deemed the midfielder’s behaviour to be “improper” and as such have stung Wilshere for 40 grand this afternoon for bringing the game into disrepute with his foul-mouth debauchery.
All for calling Spurs “sh*t”. Harsh. Very harsh.
