After a barren August, Harry Kane has enjoyed an incredibly productive September, with the striker netting another two away to Huddersfield on Saturday to take his monthly tally to a whopping 13.

Huddersfield started the game brightly, but fell behind after just nine minutes, with Kane latched on to a Kieran Trippier header before firing past Jonas Lossl in the Terriers’ goal.

Soon after, the visitors doubled their lead with full-back Ben Davies slotting home after another slick attacking move (and more weak defending from Huddersfield).

The goal of the game would come on 23 minutes, with the outstanding Kane, again set up by Trippier, curling a magnificent strike into the back of the net.

Belgian striker Laurent Delpoitre did produce a fantastic shot which came back off the crossbar but the hosts rarely threatened Hugo Lloris’ goal.

Just before the hour-mark, Dele Alli found himself on the wrong end of a caution of a rather dismal dive in the box.

Late on, Spurs would get a fourth, with sub Moussa Sissoko netting his first goal for the Lilywhites via a close-range deflected effort.

The game would end 4-0 to Mauricio Pochettino’s side, with the in-form Kane making it 13 goals for club and country in September.

While Spurs go third in the table, David Wagner’s Premier League new-boys now ninth.
