Beckham off to San Siro?

Davidbeckham_2 If you believe the gossip, David Beckham currently has two offers if he want to leave Real Madrid this month. There is talk of him going to join the misfits at the Reebok Stadium to play for Bolton Wanderers. As unlikely as that seems, the rumours persist. However, there are now rumours that he could be on his way to Inter to play under Roberto Mancini at the San Siro.

Mancini is keeping quiet over this speculation, but newspapers in Italy and Spain suggest the nerazzurri are ready to fork out to bring the former England captain to Italy. Mancini refused to comment on the speculation, and confirmed that Luis Figo (the man Beckham is likely to have replaced) is staying at the San Siro.

Figo had been strongly linked with a move to Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia for one last (big) payday, but Mancini put the scuppers on that saying "Luis Figo is an Inter player and will remain an Inter player. David Beckham is a Real Madrid player and out of respect I never speak about players who belong to other clubs."
Beckham is free to negotiate with clubs now, as he continues to stall on signing a new Real Madrid contract. It would seem that Real will be willing to let Beckham go as his contract runs out in summer, so to avoid earning a nice cut of a transfer deal, it would seem that this transfer window will see Beckham moving on to new pastures.
