Barcelona president Joan Laporta, Europe’s undisputed King of the Shit Stirrers, says Barcelona will decide in March how much money to offer Arsenal for Cesc Fabregas.

Laporta has reiterated his desire to sign the Arsenal skipper next summer amid rumours that Barca will offer £40m for the 22-year-old midfielder.

“Cesc Fabregas is desired by us for many reasons,” Laporta is quoted in The Sun as saying. “Barcelona have decided to fight for the kid for next season.

“The money? This will be decided at the end of March to prepare for a deal.

“Cesc is such a big player. Our intention is to convince the Londoners about the sale.

“It won’t be easy, but we have good relations with the Gunners.”

Good relations with the Gunners!? That’s a good one. I’m sure Wenger wishes Laporta would shut the hell up about Cesc for five minutes.

More importantly, Fabregas has repeatedly said that he’s happy at Arsenal, but with the Catalan weasels continuing to flash their panties at him, how long before he is tempted back to his homeland?

A very public tapping-up, this.

UEFA should wake up – this is the most blatant case of tapping-up a player. But, since an English club is at the receiving end this call falls on deaf ears

  2. Yavor said it in one. What do uefa actually do, may I ask? Barcelona and real madrid have clearly been publicly unsettling arsenal and Man u players for years to great effect. So what the hell does Barca have to do to step over the line before uefa steps in? Ask uefa to HELP them unsettle PLeague players?
