David Beckham has been recalled to Real Madrid’s squad for the game against Real Sociedad in La Liga on Saturday, according to Spanish national radio. Fabio Capello had previously stated that Beckham would never play for the Galacticos again after agreeing a move to LA Galaxy next season.

However, Capello has been forced into a re-think after criticism following the 1-0 home defeat against Levante.
Apparently, Beckham’s team-mates have lobbied Capello for his recall after not starring in the side since January. Is Beckham able to reverse Madrid’s poor performances? Should the England camp look at reinstating their former captain to help bring something extra to the dressing room? [Mof Gimmers]

that’s a pretty interesting proposition. i’ve been known to bash Beckham’s play a bit (a lot), but why not? England sucks. Real sucks. Sometimes loyalty matters. Maybe its both coaches who should be sacked? Let’s talk about that for a change. What have these guys done to earn their places?
