We’ve got no idea if this is standard practice at semi-pro level, but Aberdeen-based Highland Football League side Inverurie Locos Works FC have put a player up for sale using the classified section of their local newspaper…

    This isn’t the small ads, it was printed in the sports pages. The club is not based in Aberdeen. Regards, Billy Thomson.

    wrong the piece wasnt in the small adds and the club are based in aberdeenshire not aberdeen and the fans are trying to get a better atmosphere to semi-pro football and there isnt much fans trying to do this.
