It’s on. It’s on like mother-flippin’ Donkey Kong mother-flipper!

With Balotelli himself telling Sky Italia this morning that today would be his final day with the club, AC Milan have just confirmed via their website that the striker has said his good-byes to all of the players and staff at Milanello…

Word on the street is that a £16million fee has been agreed and that Balotelli could be officially unveiled as a Liverpool player as early as tonight.

In other news, we can’t help but feel a little bit uneasy about the fast-shrivelling prestige of AC Milan.

Once a bastion of European football’s elite with some of the world’s finest talents at their disposal, now reduced to flogging off their few remaining stars on the cheap and signing Adel Taraabt on loan.

Sad. Really sad.

As a Milanista for 26 years it really hurts to see the club go down in shambles because of the crazy, power hungry, underaged hooker loving, owner Berlusconi. I have no problems with Balotelli leaving because he’s a primadonna with a mental problem, but for that little is a joke. The last few seasons have been a joke because of the way the team operates. High wages for shitty players on loan, selling the best players and firing coaches that don’t say ‘yes sir’ to Berlusconi’s demands, and don’t even get me started on letting Pirlo leave. The club will be good again when Berlusconi is gone!

As another lifetime milanista, I cannot but agree with Giancarlo. The total lack of direction within the club is palpable.m and that saddens me more than the lack of investment on the club.
