Touted by many (unimaginative goons) as the ‘new Sergio Aguero’, Argentine attacker Paulo Dybala is in Jose Mourinho’s sights according to the Telegraph.

The 21-year-old has been in superb form for mid-table side Palermo this season, netting 13 goals and 10 assists, figures which have alerted the giants of Europe to his undoubted talents.

Dybala’s agent Gustavo Mascardi is no doubt wetting himself at a potential windfall here and is obviously keen to make the most of the situation. He told Gazzetta dello Sport:

“Paris St Germain have already come forward with an offer of about £32.5m and Chelsea had already reached £29m.

“We’re now at the stage where the price cannot be lower than £36m.

“Paulo is in no hurry and will take his decision calmly.”

Expect a number of other big clubs to throw their well-financed hat into the ring and the likelihood is that the youngster will be playing his football outside of Sicily next season, with Chelsea definitely a contender.

We rate this one as ‘a strong possibility’.
