It’s being reported by several sources this morning that Liverpool have once again dashed Man City’s dreams on the rocks of reality this morning by knocking back their “final” offer for Raheem Sterling.
The bid is said to be worth £35million with £5million’s worth of additional add-ons which, with the application of basic mathematics, totals a total of £40million in total.
According to ESPN FC, they have been told by an insider that City are unwilling to go any higher after previously seeing their opening bid of £25million (plus the same £5million in add-ons) rejected by Liverpool last week.
With Manchester United also being told to sling their hook in May after simply attempting to enquire about Sterling’s availability it would seem it’s now over to you, Chelsea.
