Rubber-stamped as of this afternoon, Tottenham have signed right-back Kieran Trippier from Burnley on a five-year deal.
The 24-year-old, who enjoyed a decent old season last campaign despite the Clarets going down, joins Spurs for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £3.5million.

Seems like the man himself is suitably enthused…

“When I first heard that the club was interested I didn’t have to think twice,” Trippier elaborated on the official Tottenham site.
“It’s such a big club and now I just can’t wait to get started and show everyone what I can do.”
Bit of a bargain signing and a marked improvement on the vastly-overrated Kyle Walker. What’s not to like?
