As far as Liverpool are concerned, Nathaniel Clyne is officially signed, sealed and delivered.

Southampton are reported to have received around £12.5million for Clyne, which stacks nicely on top of the £50+ million Liverpool chucked at them last summer…

And here he is in his new togs and doing the Melwood Lean

Anything’s an improvement on Glen Johnson, right?

Am I the only one that has the feeling that Man Utd cooled their interest in the guy and that’s the only reason he is joining liverpool?

  2. Dave says:

Probably sees this move as a stepping stone to greater things as Suarez and Sterling did.

  3. Neil #2 says:

This is a very good signing, with the signings LFC have made this summer already (particularly Milner and Firmino) — they will compete for top four.

If I were to call it based on squads right now:

    1. Chelski (sadly)
    2. Man U (sadly)
    3. Man City
    4. LFC
    5. Arsenal (Cech is great signing, still need more steel in the center. Not convinced that Walcott can play center and score 20+ goals a season)

    Lol, good one.

Seriously though, Arsenal will get top 4. You’d be an idiot to suggest anything else.
