It is done. Arturo Vidal is officially a Bayern Munich player. The Chilean has signed a four-year deal with the Bundesliga champions, with Juventus receiving a reported £28million in return.

In explaining his motivation for signing a massive contract at one of the biggest, richest clubs in world football, Vidal told the Bayern club site:
“I wanted to make a big step in my career. I would like to develop as a player and still win important titles like the Champions League.
“These possibilities I see most at Bayern. “
Fair enough. Perhaps celebrate with a nice glass of fruit juice though, eh?
