‘Tis the end of an era – specifically the era in which Ramires played for Chelsea.

It’s been officially announced this afternoon that the Brazilian midfielder, who is still only 28, has completed his move to the free-spending Chinese Super League by joining Jiangsu Suning in a reported £20-25million deal.

Word on the wire is that Ramires has agreed a four-year deal with Jiangsu, which will likely earn him ALLTHEMONIES.

A useful and hard-working player on his day and a frustrating mess of limbs when not, it’s the right time for Ramires to move on and for Chelsea to cash in.

Seems like both camps recognise a ridiculously lucrative deal when they see one.
