The mass migration eastwards continues apace with the news that Ezequiel Lavezzi has become the latest star name to sign up for a Chinese Super League side, namely Hebei Fortune.

Hebei have reportedly paid PSG a whopping £23.5million to procure Lavezzi’s services. The Argentinian striker only had six months left to run on his contract at the Ligue 1 giants.

Strangely however, the local Chinese media are claiming the fee as a piffling £5.5million. Who to believe?

It’s being reported that Lavezzi, 30, will earn around £400,000-a-week at Hebei, where he joins fellow European footballing ex-pats Gervinho, Stephane Mbia and Gael Kakuta.

It’s bloody nice work if you can get it.

Great! I’ll never have to see his shitty haircuts and bad tattoos again.

Imagine have the genes to play top level football and yet your brains tell you to go play in some shit league because they’ll pay yet an even more insane amount of money.

If outer space is watching, they’re sure we’re fucked on Planet Earth.
