Liverpool winger Jordan Ibe has joined Bournenouth in a four-year deal for a reported fee of £15million, a club record for the Cherries.

The 20-year-old made a total of 58 appearances for the Reds after moving from Wycombe Wanderers in 2011, but only managed 12 league starts in 2015/16.

Earlier this month, Jurgen Klopp gave Ibe permission to talk to Bournemouth, culminating in a move away from Anfield for the talented youngster.

Neill Blake, Bournemouth’s chief executive, said:

We’re delighted to bring Jordon to the football club.

He played plenty of football with Liverpool last season and we’re looking forward to seeing him to continue to grow now with us, he’s a huge prospect.

We’ve now signed five players this summer, all of whom have an abundance of potential.

It shows that we’re serious about nurturing talent at this football club and we have the long term in mind when we say we want to stay in the Premier League.

Ibe is Eddie Howe’s fifth signing of the summer, as the young manager looks to build on the Cherries’ maiden Premier League campaign.
