This could be the very moment that the summer of the ‘elaborate player unveiling video’ jumps the shark – Sevilla have kidnapped Jesus!

Indeed, the Spanish side have announced their re-acquisition of Jesus Navas by having him kidnapped off the street, bundled into the boot of a car and taken to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan…

To be fair, as harrowing as it may seem, Jesus (who has rejoined Sevilla on a freebie after four years at Man City) doesn’t seem overly upset by the whole ordeal.

Where next? Pies’ are eagerly awaiting the ‘human cannonball player unveiling’ featuring Neymar and a 60-foot cannon.

    Navas.

What did he do again, apart from run down the wing quite fast?

I swear I only ever seen him running quite fast.
