Official: Burnley Take Aaron Lennon Off Everton’s Hands On Cut-Price Permanent Deal (Photo)

After being bumped down the pecking order at Everton by Theo Walcott’s recent arrival, Aaron Lennon has moved on to pastures new by completing a move to Burnley.

The former England winger, 30, has signed a permanent deal at Turf Moor for an undisclosed fee, rumoured to be somewhere around the£2-3million mark.

Brings back splendid memories of Lennon’s original unveiling at Everton (when he signed on loan from Tottenham in February, 2015), wherein he famously looked the very picture of ‘ho-hum’…

Indeed, Lennon’s long face became such a talking point that he actually took the time to faithfully re-shoot the miserable photos six months later when he turned his loan into a permanent deal, remembering to smile (just about) this time.
