It’s been on the back-burner for a few weeks, but Gianluigi Buffon has now completed his move to PSG after signing a one-year contract with the Ligue 1 champions.
Thus ends the 40-year-old’s 17-year association with Juventus, for whom he made over 600 appearances before leaving as a free agent at the tail end of last season.
Buffon has now been officially unveiled as a PSG player, with the club also bundling in the big reveal of their new ‘keeper shirt…

Speaking to PSG’s club website, Buffon said:
It is with a great feeling of happiness that I join Paris Saint Germain.
For the first time in my career, I am leaving my country and only a project this ambitious could have encouraged me to make such a decision.
Sod’s law that Juve blow the bank on Cristiano Ronaldo and then go on to win the Champions League now.
