It may have taken a few weeks to haul over the line, but Tiemoue Bakayoko’s Chelsea exit is now officially done and dusted.
The 23-year-old French midfielder has completed his move to AC Milan, with the Italian club confirming as much on Tuesday morning…

With the transfer deadline passing last week, it should be noted that Bakayoko is joining the Rossoneri on an initial €5million season-long loan, with an option to make it all permanent for roughly €40million-ish chucked in for next summer.
Signed for £40million as part of the great Monaco raid of 2016-17, the 23-year-old just never quite got going for Chelsea, looking off the pace and cumbersome as his appearance rate dwindled all the while.
Maybe the comparatively more sedate midfield tempo of Serie A will allow him to flourish more fully.
The Blues will certainly be hoping so if they have any designs on recouping their money.
