Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy has dropped a ma-hoo-sive hint that he may be about to join Championship side Cardiff City.

Bellamy is widely expected to be on his merry way out of Eastlands this summer after reportedly growing tired of manager Roberto Mancini’s coaching methods, and the Welshman is said to have been attracting interest from a number of potential suitors including Tottenham, Celtic and Wolfsburg to name but three.

The 30-year-old forward, who hails from the Welsh capital, has refused to accept a place on the City bench next season, yet also seemingly ruled out a move to another English club or overseas.

Speaking in The Mirror, Bellamy said;

“I have never once – and I never would once – sit back and pick up my money. I just couldn’t do that to myself. It would be lying about who I am as a person. But I’ll be very shocked if the challenge is with another English club.

Playing anywhere else in Europe would be too much of a strain on my family because they live in Cardiff. So it really limits me to maybe one place.”

Cardiff or Narnia?
