Craig Bellamy on one of his famous charm offensives

BREAKING: Looks like Man City bad boy Craig Bellamy has decided to get away from it all, by spending six months on loan at Cardiff City in the Championship. Yes, he’s zipping up his boot bag and going back to his roots.

This will disappoint Fulham and Celtic, who also wanted to take the little Welsh terrier off Roberto Mancini’s hands.

Including one loan spell at Celtic, that makes it nine clubs in a decade for Bellamy. And I’m not talking golf clubs (boom tish). He is The Disruptor.

  1. Elton Johnnybag says:

Good luck to Bellamy. He has obviously made the choice for personal reasons and no-one can argue with that. He will definitely be a marked man in the Championship though and remains to be seen how long his brittle temperament will remain intact in the face of such hostility. I wish him all the best regardless as he is a genuine talent and true entertainer.

Shoulda gone back to Celtic though!

He’s a cunt but he’s a character. Something the premier league lacks.

  3. Connor says:

great talent, and the team that gets him usually gets a productive first year out of him. but that’s about it. thanks for the year and a half, now move on and disrupt someone else

    “He’s a cunt but he’s a character.”

Truer words have not been spoken!
