Before his country’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Algeria yesterday afternoon, Gambia ‘keeper Musa Camara was seen sprinkling mysterious white powder across his goal-line which has since been identified as ‘Gri Gri’ – an African voodoo amulet that is supposed to ward off bad luck and stop stitched leather crossing white paint…

The only problem is Camara must have opened the wrong end of the sachet or forgot to apply it at both ends of the pitch, as the Gri Gri seemingly worked in reverse – forcing our Musa into dropping an utter bollock for Algeria’s second-half equaliser…

Algeria then went on to win it 2-1, which leads me to believe that Camara’s ‘Gri Gri’ was probably nothing more potent than a Sherbet Dib Dab.

Excellent spot from those stalwart video-hounds over at 101GG

You shouldn’t be allowed to show that magic powder thing. You make the Africans look like superstitious primitives.
