While Cristiano Ronaldo was struggling to find his mojo against Germany in Euro 2012, across the Atlantic, the Real Madrid man’s nemesis was doing the business for Argentina against none other than Brazil.

Lionel Messi was the star of the show in the friendly game in New Jersey, netting a superb hat-trick, with the third goal the undoubted icing on the cake. It may not have been a competitive game, but when these two heavyweights meet, it never a sedate affair. Indeed, both Ezequiel Lavezzi and Marcelo were sent off in added time. However, just sit back and marvel at the pint-sized genius and his magnificent strike.

love that his first move of that attack was leaving that little shit marcelo in the dust.

Leo Messi retaliation: put you head down, keep working hard, and the next time you play against someone who has a reputation for stamping on you and giving you cheap shots, outplay the fucker

So, Messi beats one player, runs thirty yards unchallenged down the field and scores… and that’s a wonder goal? More like shocking defence. But then again, every bastard riding Messi’s dick will never acknowledge stuff like this. But oh well, such is life :/

On the day Ronaldo flops on the big occasion again, Messi shows us why he’s the best.
