Radamel Falcao scored five against Deportivo La Coruna tonight…

Sadly for Raddy, a certain somebody was busy shattering Gerd Muller’s ‘goals in a year’ record with a couple against Real Betis elsewhere.

What a git.

Incidentally, neither Messi nor Ronaldo have ever managed five goals in one La Liga game. There’s your factoid for the evening, use it as you see fit.

I’m fairly convinced that Falcao is better than Ronaldo. Certainly the best full-on striker in the world

I do believe that Messi scored 5 goals in a Champions League game once. Not sure, but I think it was against Bayer Leverkusen

I agree, Falcao is the best full-on striker in the world. Comparing to Ronaldo is stupid for that reason, Ronaldo is not a straight striker. He has a lot more depth to him. It can be easy at times to shut down a player like Falcao (the madrid derby this year).

There are 3 players in la liga that are entirely unique of each other, just appreciate that instead of ranking them.
