Jordan Ayew: Blink and you’ll miss him

Over in Ligue 1 this weekend, Marseille winger Jordan Ayew (younger brother of Andre, who also plays for L’OM) managed the impressive feat of picking up two yellow cards in the space of 11 seconds against Evian Thonon Gaillard, and all this just in just over a minute after coming on as a second-half substitute!

Having come on for Mathieu Valbuena in the 73rd minute of the game, Ayew picked up a swift booking for clipping an Evian defender in the 74th, only to repeat the feat just 11 seconds after play had restarted and receiving his marching orders as the clock ticked over into the 75th minute – meaning his total time on the pitch stood at 1 minute and 57 seconds.

All this after Marseille had already had Kassim Abdallah sent off 20 minutes earlier.
