Ronaldinho Uses Cunning ‘Water Bottle’ Ploy To Dupe Sao Paulo’s Defence (Video)

Here we see Ronaldinho, in action for Atletico Mineiro against Sao Paulo in the Copa Libertadores last night, asking for a swig of opposing ‘keeper Rogerio Ceni’s water following a knock in the gob – though it quickly transpired that it was all just a deliberate ploy to shake the Sao Paulo backline and remain high up the field while his teammate slung a long throw back in his direction.

Ronaldinho then brings the ball under, slips a low cross into the box and Atletico striker Jo (who Man City fans most likely won’t remember at all) hurtles in to apply the finish…

Atletico won 2-1, with Ronaldinho providing both the assists; one of which was far more elaborate than the other!
