Swansea City 4-0 Malmo – Europa League – 1st August 2013
Former European Cup finalists Malmo (beaten 1-0 by Nottm Forest in 1979’s final – that’s one for Chris) were given a right seeing to by Carling Cup champs Swansea on Thursday night.
Swans’ new-boy Wilfried Bony netted a brace on his competitive debut for the Welsh side while Michu and sub Alejandro Pozuelo also scored to give Michael Laudrup’s side quite a comfy advantage going in to next week’s second leg of the qualifiers in Sweden.
