Quick burst of Monday morning LULZ to get us off the ground this week with a snippet of action from Liga MX on Saturday in which Veracruz ‘keeper Edgar Hernández upholds his part of the bargain and saves an injury-time penalty kick against Cruz Azul to maintain his side’s 3-1 lead – only for a couple of his defenders to immediately undo all of his hard work and somehow manage to put away the rebound without a Cruz Azul player so much as getting a sniff of the ball…
Against all the odds, Veracruz still managed to run out 3-2 winners – though only by virtue of time running out before they could do anything else quite this stupid!
