Scotland 0-2 Belgium – World Cup Qualifiers – 6th September 2013
Scotland stay bottom of Group after going down 2-0 to a classy Belgian side at Hampden Park.
The Belgians, chock-a-block with top tier talent, opened the scoring on 38 minutes courtesy of a fine strike from Steven Defour while Everton’s Kevin Mirallas made it 2-0 at the death.
The home side rarely troubled Thibaut Courtois in the Belgian goal although Scott Brown and Shaun Maloney did go close. However, overall, Scotland were well beaten by a superb Belgian side.
