Seems that Andres Iniesta was bitten by the acting bug after starring as an albino pirate in the Spanish version of Aardman animation “Pirates” as the Barcelona midfielder has bagged his second big screen role in crime caper “Quien Mato a Bambi?” (which translates as “Who Shot Bambi?”) – and a taxing and complex role it is too.

Basically, Thespianiesta plays the small but integral character ‘Andres Iniesta’, a Spanish footballer who loiters around empty football stadiums by night and gets thwacked in the face with a car door for his troubles (skip to the 1:58 mark for Iniesta’s big scene)…

Bravo darling, bravo! Apparently Iniesta’s line translates as “Are you crazy, man? Don’t you know that this is a sacred lawn?”

In case you were interested, “Who Shot Bambi?” is released on November 17th in cinemas far, far away from you.
