In which Ajaccio forward Gadji Tallo goes down with a horrendous “injury” during last night’s Coupe de la Ligue tie against Bastia and is stretchered from the pitch amid a phalanx of medical staff.
Sensing the injury must be deadly serious to necessitate such a fuss being made of it, Ajaccio coach Fabrizio Ravanelli takes the initiative and subs Tallo off while he lays there, writhing in agony on the stretcher.
Only, it turned out that our friend Tallo was – shock horror! – merely feigning injury all along and, upon noticing that he’d been subbed off for no reason, the Ivorian striker makes a full and miraculous recovery, leaping from his death bed and throwing a tantrum in the general direction of the Ajaccio bench…
Aaaaaaand the morale of the story is……..?
What a prat.
