Having already opened the scoring on the 33rd-minute mark, Santos Laguna striker Javier Orozco hassled, harried and successfully bagged his second goal of the afternoon against Toluca in the Mexican top flight just three minutes later – though he’s unlikely to remember much about it.
Orozco nudged the ball over the line but, thanks to a little shove from the Toluca defender, also collided with the goalpost at full tilt in the process – momentarily knocking himself cold for a split second before he hit the ground.
Still visibly groggy and in considerable pain, Orozco was then subbed off five minutes later. Unsurprisingly, he was later treated for a concussion.
For the record, Santos won 2-0.
