In which Mexican referee Marco Rodriguez writes his name into the Copa Libertadores history books by flashing the fastest red card in the tournament’s 54-year history, lasting a full 24 seconds before having to (quite rightly) eject Atletico Nacional midfielder Alejandro Bernal from the game for violently stamping on the fleshy bit of Nacional’s Maximiliano Calzada…

Hard to argue with that one.
