Before the recent Norwegian cup game between Alta IF and Bossekop UL, Bossekop’s Mathias Dahl Abelsen attempted to leap on the back of his team-mate, Martin Mathisen.
Sadly, it was at precisely this point that Mathisen chose to limber up with a leap of his own.
The resulting mid-air collision left that latter with a gaping wound in the back of his head that required six stitches to close…
