Coming to an industrial landfill site near you, we give you ‘United Passions’ – a new film about the formation of FIFA which looks about as exciting as you’d imagine a film about the formation of FIFA would be.
Debuting at Cannes, Tim Roth plays the young Sepp Blatter, while Sam Neill plays Sam Neill Joao Havelange (Blatter’s predecessor as FIFA president) and Gerard Depardieu plays Jules Rimet despite looking absolutely nothing like the man in any way, shape or form.

Just for the record, the making of the film has been stridently supported (read: overseen) by FIFA themselves, who reportedly fronted up approximately three-quarters of its total £19million budget.
