Mexico 1-0 Cameroon – World Cup Group A – 13th June 2014

Despite having two perfectly good goals (both scored by ex-Spurs man Giovani Dos Santos), Mexico eventually overcame a defensive Cameroon side to take all three points in Natal.

Playing in torrential rain, Cameroon struggled ot create much going forward, although Samuel Eto’o did hit the post. However, eventually Mexico got the goal their play deserved when Oribe Peralta fired home after Charles Itandje parried a shot in the Cameroon goal.
