Norwegian sport/comedy show Golden Goal have pioneered various variations on the plain old vanilla football theme over the past few years – famously giving exposure to alternative disciplines such as the now commonplace Bubble Football and Electric Shock Football.

Their latest experiment saw the Golden Goal chaps attempting to answer that age-old query: could a team of 22 largely talentless amateur players (including two goalkeepers) beat a standard team of 11 professional footballers?

With a little help from one of Norway’s top sides, Valerenga, the Golden Goal team set about proving once and for all that the answer is a resounding “no”.
