With Barcelona’s senior side failing to register a single shot on target in a game since the 2003/04 season during their goalless draw against Malaga in La Liga last night, it would seem that Luis Suarez’s debut can’t come fast enough – with the suspended striker scoring twice in a behind-closed-doors friendly game for Barca’s B team earlier in the day.
Barcelona B beat the Indonesian U19 side 6-0 in a friendly specially arranged by Luis Enrique to allow both Suarez and Thomas Vermaelen to get into their “match rhythm” ahead of their full debuts for the Catalan club.
The quality of the raw footage isn’t exactly top notch, but here are both of Suarez’s first two goals in blaugrana…
Vermaelen also plundered himself a goal during the festivities…
And a jolly nice time was had by all – except the Indonesians, of course – who got battered.
