Leicester City 0-1 West Bromwich Albion – Premier League – 2nd October 2014
An Esteban Cambiasso OG gave West Brom a hard-fought away win at the King Power Stadium on Saturday as Leicester say their unbeaten home record come to an end.
Both sides had chances to open the scoring, with Andy King and Saido Berahino, among others, going close. However, it took until the 47th minute for a goal to finally come. Argentine veteran Cambiasso was the unfortunate culprit, seeing Wes Morgan’s headed clearance ricochet off the midfielder and into the Leicester goal. The hosts did push for an equaliser but Alan Irvine’s men held on for a hard-earned win.
West Brom are now 10th while Nigel Pearson’s Foxes are just a point above the drop-zone.
